All Wisconsin EMS Personnel will complete skills competencies and FIT Testing annually.  These training courses are mandatory on an annual basis to maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.

Skill Competencies are based on Superior's Greater Milwaukee Area Protocols and your licensure level.  Skills are integrated into three scenarios: an Interfacility Trauma Scenario, an Interfacility Medical Scenario, and a 911 Medical Scenario.  Skills are not limited to, but will include application of a C-Collar, Backboard, KED Hare Traction Splint, Suctioning, CPR, AED, and CPAP.

Competencies are meant to be educational and promote growth as an EMS Provider and Team Member.  Therefore, scenarios will be responded to in teams of 2-4 people.  Anyone who is deemed not competent will be provided with remediation and an opportunity to be reassessed.

FIT Testing will be available following the skills competencies.
